The mixed games festivities continued at UB Poker with Events #11 and #12 of the UB Online Poker Championship (UBOC). The day kicked off with a PLO event with a $200 buy-in with one rebuy and one add-on and wrapped up with a $200 HORSE event with a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000. Both tournaments netted 305 players and easily met their guarantees. In the PLO event $134,200 was on the line thanks to 195 rebuys and 171 add-ons.
The tournament was hosted by reigning World Series of Poker (WSOP) PLO Champion Matt Graham, but he busted out midway through the event, leaving it up to Matt Vengrin to carry the torch for the sponsored pros. He had the deepest run of the bunch with a 34th place finish, while known pros like Carter “CKINGUSC” King (11th), Owen “OCROWE” Crowe (17th) and Matt “MCMATTO” Affleck (18th) got a little closer to the final table.
